MERC and Mailtand volunteers maintain two outdoor skating rinks in the village of Maitland -

1. Cedar Street Rink : Located in Maitland Park Estates (east of Church Street, south of 401) on Cedar Street. This rink is usually ready for public skating and/or pick-up hockey in January to early March (weather permitting). It is equipped with lights for nighttime skating.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. MERC Hall : Located just behind the MERC Hall back "in the woods". This rink is usually ready for public skating and/or pick-up hockey in January to early March (weather permitting). It is equipped with lights for nighttime skating.
